CD Release Party at Erie Art Museum
World Music Program

Erie Artg Museum World Music ProgramYou're Invited to Our CD Release Party! -- Sunday, Sept. 11, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.  Fifth St. Entrance

The Old Songs New Opportunities (OSNO) program at the Erie Art Museum has trained immigrants and refugees from Puerto Rico, Ukraine, Russia, Africa, the Middle East and Bhutan to work in Erie’s childcares and use their traditional songs on the job. Since 2004 we have collected over 100 songs in 10 different languages! We have made a recording that includes 36 of the most popular songs called Simba La La:World Music for Children.
On September 11, donors, OSNO graduates, partners and the entire community are invited to a CD Release Party at the Erie Art Museum during the Second Sundays program.

Sing with OSNO performers from all over the world, play cultural games and sample foods from the Middle East, Bhutan, and Africa. Bring the entire family and join us in supporting the many amazing cultures that are flourishing in our city! Booklets and CDs from each OSNO session will be available for purchase in addition to the brand new compilation: Simba La La World Music for Children.
