BIEBER SWINGS, GAGA SINGS

The jazz community woke up to the stunning news that Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga have decided to reunite for a new duet album featuring the music of George and Ira Gershwin's Porgy & Bess.

All-Star Cast.

In addition to "Biebs" and Gaga, the album will feature saxophonist Rashaad Roland Kirk, Don Cherry on trumpet, Alice Coltrane on piano.  Rounding out the rhythm section will be Jimmy Blanton on upright electric bass and former Goodman drummer Gene Krupa.

It is rumored that Krupa was a holdout on the project until Gaga and Bieber agreed to include an updated version of the previously unreleased Summertime/Sing, Sing, Sing Medley arranged by Krupa himself.

Tickets.

Tickets are priced from $300 - $1500 depending on seating and will go on sale July 11.  Tickets may be purchased at the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild, any Dollar Bank, and Romolo Chocolates.
