This Week's Video: Saxophonist John Coltrane

We all have those piercing "where were you when" moments that stick with us - the memories we can recreate instantaneously.

One for me was walking down Haight Street in San Fransisco on July 17, 1967, hearing the Beatles "All You Need Is Love" for the first time, when a shopkeeper came out of his store to tell us "Coltrane died." He was already a legend as a young man, and remained so.
